Activities and Entertainment

There will be a wide variety of activities for all ages. Challenge yourself and your friends during Halloween Trivia, hosted by Dana McCarthy. Families can team up for the Scavenger Hunt, coordinated by the Special Events Committee, with flashlights provided at the entry gate.

For animal lovers, the Petting Zoo from Patch 22 will be a favorite stop. Younger guests can explore the Inflatable Maze, while others enjoy classic carnival-style games organized by Community 365 and Queens. A highlight of the evening will be the Hay Ride offered by the Winthrop Harbor Baptist Church.

Children will also enjoy face painting with Jane, rides on the small train provided by Alanna with Parks & Recreation assistance, and meeting princesses handing out glow sticks. To cap it off, live music by Ryan Lindsey will provide the perfect soundtrack to the evening.

Food and Sweets

No festival is complete without delicious food, and Fall Fest 2025 will feature some local favorites. Smackin’ Burgerand Grub N’ Go will be serving crowd-pleasing meals, while the Lions Club will offer additional selections.

Seasonal treats will also be available. Parks and Recreation will sell apple donuts and pumpkin cookies, and Community 365 will have s’mores kits available for purchase so families can enjoy roasting together.

Drinks

Warm and refreshing beverages will keep everyone cozy throughout the evening. Parks and Recreation will be serving apple cider along with alcoholic beverages, and Living Full Kombucha will be offering specialty drinks.

Admission and Wristbands

Entry to Fall Fest requires a wristband.

• Presale wristbands are available for $10 from September 28 through October 17.

• At the door, wristbands will be $15.

Wristbands have already been purchased, so be sure to get yours early and avoid waiting until the last minute.
